Real, atlas-bound color palettes out.
Atlas Creative Palette Generator
The Atlas Creative Palette Generator translates creative language—ideas, moods, and design intentions—into concrete color palettes selected from a real, measured color atlas.
Unlike common “AI color generators,” this tool does not invent colors. Every palette is assembled exclusively from existing, physically measured color samples and evaluated using a deterministic, structural analysis.
What this means
Deterministic
The same input always produces the same result. There is no randomness,
no stylistic variation, and no generative behavior.
All analyses are fully reproducible and transparent.
Structural
Colors are not judged by taste or trend.
They are analyzed as physical spectra, considering structural
properties such as absorption–reflection balance, energetic stability,
and spectral sensitivity. The analysis explains how a color is built—
not whether it is “beautiful.”
Genre and mood as context, not control
Genre (e.g. editorial, UI, packaging, exhibition) can be defined upfront to frame the discussion. It does not influence color selection or analysis; it only provides context for interpretation.
Mood (such as “12 seasons,” “calm,” “sad,” or “dramatic”) can also be stated in advance as a linguistic intention. Moods do not generate, filter, or modify colors. Only after the analysis can one discuss whether the structural properties of a palette align with the intended mood.
What this tool does—and does not do
- It explains color structure and stability
- It supports discussion and evaluation
- It documents color decisions
It does not optimize, prescribe, or replace design judgment.
The result is not an opinion, but an explainable, transparent, and physically grounded color decision— leaving the final choice consciously with the human.
